If the Clone Wars branding wasn't enough of a clue, a quick play session quickly confirms the game's intended audience. Younglings will revel in the simple-but-engaging battle system that casts them as their favourite Jedi (or Sith) and more experienced, curmudgeonly Jedi Knights will moan about the blind slashing, the cartoon-grade dialogue and their aches and pains.

Like playing real music, playing Wii Music can result in some amazing, original moments of creativity... if you can put in the time and effort. Is that what Wii gamers want, though?

de Blob is a cute game that is best taken at a leisurely pace when you feel like putzing with something uncomplicated. Or, you know, when you're feeling funky. The soundtrack is a constant groove, and the good vibes only get better when you see how happy the city looks as a big messy rainbow.

Yes, Capcom did a masterful job of recapturing the old school vibe — you'll swear you were back in 1987 when you play this game-but it's so freaking difficult that it's downright discouraging. Still, with its low price and faithfulness to the franchise's roots, it's definitely worth the download.

Filled with potential, Lost in Blue focuses less on survival and more on babysitting with the occasional mini-game.

Possessing the charm and vibrant visuals of a Saturday morning cartoon, Wario Land: Shake It! will definitely appeal to children; adult gamers, however, may find the gameplay repetitive and a tad dull.

Poor controls, frustrating gameplay and a repetitive single-player mode mean it's three strikes and you're out for Mario and his friends.

Red Steel sounds great in theory, but the execution leaves something to be desired. It's buggy and unevenly presented, which spoils what fun there is to be had. However, it did give me a taste of how FPS games can and will change on the Wii, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the genre will play out in the future.

Monster 4x4 isn't a particularly deep title, but you'd have to be a fool to go into thinking that it would be. It's probably best as a weekend rental to blast through with your friends.

Players who've wrung all they can out of Wii Sports will appreciate We Love Golf if they're not looking for anything too serious. But if you draw the line at pirate-themed golf courses, avert your eyes, matey.

Assuming you have a GameCube controller, these classic games are still a blast to play, but this particular release of them is hardly the tenth anniversary treatment the series deserves. Hopefully one day SNK will get the job done properly.

It's frankly the one to miss, unless you're stuck with just a Wii and a Sam Fisher fixation.
