At World's End delivers exactly what you'd expect from a movie licensed game: It's deep enough and features enough referential material to draw in the diehard fans of the source material but it isn't innovative or interesting enough to stand alone in the action genre. However, if you come in with lowered expectations, you just might have fun with it.

If you like you video games big, violent and dumb, there's a lot of enjoyment to be had from Earth Defence Force 2017.

Stuntman: Ignition isn't without it's flaws, but there are just enough thrills and spills -- especially in multiplayer -- to make it worthy of purchase.

Those who have been waiting for a quality role-playing will be sorely disappointed, and anyone brave enough to search for the positive aspects in Two Worlds may find something to satiate their appetite, but finding those good aspects takes far too much effort than it should.

Skate has some awesome potential, but they're not at that stage yet. We're willing to bet, that EA will take the skate series and make it better the next time around, especially since they have a good foundation in place. Just keep your fingers crossed that they don't pump one out every year like Madden, which will seriously slow down the progression of gameplay improvements.

Halo 3 is going to sell a gazillion copies regardless of what we say. It's therefore just as well that the game fully deserves its phenomenal sales -- one of the best shooters we have ever seen, period.

Troublesome oversights get in the way of enjoyment, such as the bizarre lack of a health meter, and the notion that tons of fast-moving metal can be brought to a screeching halt by straw-thin branches. These issues are all symptomatic of Fatal Inertia's crippling unwillingness to strike far enough out into new territory to find fresh rewards. However, Fatal Inertia does not sink to the bottom-of-the-barrel status, but neither does it ever manage to rise above merely average.

As long as you don't break your controller in the process, there's a lot of enjoyment to be had from Ultimate Carnage. Get past the frustrating difficulty and you'll find a beautiful, rewarding game that is easily the best yet in the series.

At the end of the day, Blacksite is a decent enough FPS title that's the gaming equivalent of a summer action blockbuster: it sure as hell won't win any Oscars but it delivers just enough thrills to make you feel like you got your money's worth.--Tae K. Kim

If you're a fan of the franchise or just really love throwing men and pinning them to the ground then this game is for you. But it's not a title for the casual gamer.

No matter how you slice it, Circle of Doom just doesn't have any appeal.

It won't wow you with a high degree of realism like Gran Turismo will but for pure racing action, it is one of the best titles ever produced. Give it a chance and you might find yourself having the most fun you've ever had in a virtual car.
