It could have been a fantastic survival horror game, but Homecoming is hampered by lacklustre gameplay and a linear story.

Poor controls, frustrating gameplay and a repetitive single-player mode mean it's three strikes and you're out for Mario and his friends.

Oh, what could have been! An RPG with this kind of pedigree should have been something Xbox 360 owners could be proud of; instead, it disappoints and is yet more proof that the 360 needs more quality RPGs and fast. Keep your fingers crossed, 360 fans, that Final Fantasy XIII delivers the goods

It's good enough to keep your attention for a while but you'd probably be better off renting it for the weekend or waiting for it to drop into the bargain bin.

Assuming you have a GameCube controller, these classic games are still a blast to play, but this particular release of them is hardly the tenth anniversary treatment the series deserves. Hopefully one day SNK will get the job done properly.

It's frankly the one to miss, unless you're stuck with just a Wii and a Sam Fisher fixation.

At the end of the day, playing Lost Planet is like dating a supermodel with personality problems: It's great looking and has the potential for good times, but ultimately, it's just not worth the trouble. Hardcore gamers will be able to test their uber-l33t skills against the game's difficult enemies, but I play games to have fun and though there are some good moments in the game, but they're too few and far between.

In the end, TMNT provides some fairly fun ninja-style leaping around, but it's hampered by boring combat and annoying jumping puzzles that further suffer from control issues.

This game is not for the faint of heart and should be reserved for those that enjoy repetitive battles and watching badly built sprites bumble across their television screen.

If you can suffer the controls or have GameCube pads lying around, it's not a bad kickback 'n' relax option for some speedy cartoon laps.

Though Opoona is original and exciting, there are too many problems for it to be anything more than an interesting diversion. If the game design had been tighter and featured more polish, it would have been a winner but as it stands, it'll probably be of interest only to die-hard RPG fans.
