Is Rock Band better than Guitar Hero III? The answer will vary and really, it's all about personal taste. Rock Band is probably not the right choice for someone who just wants to shred by themselves in the spotlight. While personal glory is great, we like Rock Band's emphasis on collaboration, having a great time with friends and feeling like an actual musician.

Eternal Sonata is still a solid role-playing game that is built around an innovative and interesting story. There's plenty of fun to be had and while it may not redefine the role-playing genre, it does a mighty fine job of teasing the boundaries. Hopefully Namco Bandai has the sense to carry this idea forward, and perhaps, for the next title, we could explore the underworld playing as Mozart.

The game is great graphically, especially considering how quickly the environment responds to climate changes, though the hyper-cute characters and level designs may turn off many. Had the physics been less dramatic, we probably would have had more fun with it. Instead, the game is just too frustrating for its own good, which is strange considering its kid-friendly vibe.

When it comes down to it, Warriors Orochi is more a mediocre tribute to past games than a fresh experience. Unimpressive graphics, a mundane fighting system, and a slate of characters borrowed from other titles leaves Warriors Orochi a stale appetiser left on the plate as you wait for the Dynasty Warriors six main course.

Beyond its online career mode, there's not much that leads Juiced 2 to stand out from the pack. It's an unassuming street racer with few flaws, but at the same time, few outstanding qualities. Even the visuals don't inspire much, leaving Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights cold by morning.

Despite the faults, Lair still manages to be decent title that all PS3 owners should look into, but you may want to reserve your true excitement for the day when the other hotly anticipated PS3 titles like Heavenly Sword arrive.

Tools of Destruction is an amazing PS 3 game that fully leverages the power of the console. It sets the bar high for not only the series but for all PS3 games to come. It is, without a doubt, reason enough to buy the system.

We're hoping against hope that Capcom will somehow address the wonky camera and save system, because that would go a long way towards making DMC4 truly sublime. Still, we highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for an amazing action game to add to their library.

Metroid purists may feel betrayed by the ramped up action and shift in tone, but this is still a highly polished and phenomenal shooter. The best FPS on the Wii yet.

Visually, the game already looks phenomenal, and is far, far more detailed than the already stunning Oblivion. Bethesda is promising virtually identical graphics and performance between the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions as well as simultaneous launch dates. Late 2008 is a long way off...but we have a hunch that Fallout 3 is one game worth waiting for.
