Offers a whole lot more than the average GTA rip-off. Highly recommended.

The graphics and multiplayer modes are a let-down, especially considering Haze's excellent narrative. There is enough to the game to provide some entertainment, but it won't keep you coming back time after time.

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 succeeds thanks to its amazing co-op, carefully balanced gameplay and memorable setting. Sure, there are some aggravating scripting and design issues present but much like the city it's set in, Vegas 2's pleasure outweighs the pain.

Valve's done an amazing job with Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, and it shouldn't let down any fans of the series with its slick presentation, great game play variety, and entertaining stories.

Despite getting a bit long in the tooth, F.E.A.R is still a fantastic looking game that has been ported across perfectly.

The best ninja game on the block just got a whole lot better.

Although Ghost Recon: Advance Warfighter 2 won't reinvent the wheel, it zooms along at such an exhilarating pace that you're unlikely to care. Another worthy addition to the Tom Clancy pantheon.

All in all, TimeShift is an enjoyable first-person shooter but it probably won't make you forget about the titles that it so liberally borrows from.

Enjoying this epic takes actual work, and that's bound to turn many otherwise devoted fans of the genre off. If you find yourself bristling any time a game casts you in the role of passive observer for extended periods of time, and yearn for an adventure that gives you rich freedom and control, you'll be sorely disappointed by the broad but shallow possibilities in Lost Odyssey. On the other hand, if you're willing to throw yourself into Kaim's world, sponging up every last detail of his past, present, and future, you'll come away with some haunting memories as well as the sensation that you just experienced something that was as satisfying as it was frustrating.

Buy it — you know you want to.

Fans of Conan will appreciate this game as much as hack-and-slash fans who've never heard of the franchise. It's a lot of fun, challenging without being frustrating and all in all, a great example of its genre.
