If you have a Xbox 360 console, stick to that version of Carbon. But if you were somehow lucky enough to get a PS3 and you need a speed kick, Need for Speed: Carbon is a worthwhile investment.

With multiple difficulty levels, and a host of multiplayer options, this is a great addition to the Splinter Cell canon.

FIFA 09 isn’t perfect, but it remains the best football game around. The improvements to gameplay, ball physics and AI combine to produce a rewarding experience and the new game modes are excellent and provide hours of fun.
