Spider-Man: Friend or Foe is a very simple game aimed at the younger audience with low difficulty and repetitive action. For older gamers and those who expect a little more from their games than a shallow beat 'em up experience might want to look elsewhere for their superhero action.

Awesome action makes up for several shortcomings including a spastic camera and random technical glitches. Web of Shadows delivers the best combat system of any Spider-Man game to date and intense boss battles to go with it. An imperfect effort, but an entertaining one nonetheless

Spider-Man 3 isn't the travesty many people are making out, especially if you enjoyed the movie. Our advice is to ignore the online venom and give the game a chance.

We had fun romping through God Hand's quirky post-apocalyptic world and it certainly has enough going for it to scratch your itch for some mindless action. But it's more suited as a light snack and won't satisfy your hunger for a gourmet feast of beat-'em-up goodness.

Wii owners who are desperate for a post-Metroid 3 FPS experience should definitely check Heroes 2 out but if you have access to other consoles, you're probably better off playing something else instead. Like, say, Call of Duty 4?

Tiger for the Wii is a lot like the real sport of golf: wonderfully fun and tremendously frustrating. But unlike the real deal, it just isn't always worth the aggravation. Hopefully, they'll bring some of the finesse back for the 2008 model.

All in all, The Simpsons Game is a good effort, but some glaring flaws really hold it back. If you can get around the wonky camera and less than stellar controls, you're in for some genuine laughs, but you'll probably end up feeling more frustrated than anything else.

FIFA Street 3 ditches their dense gameplay and sprints forward with fewer modes and options. While you won't want to sit with it for hours on end, FIFA Street 3 is fun for a few stylish rounds of pretend footy.

Don't let its shortcomings get you down: Mercs 2 may have its faults but it's still a pretty fun title that kicks a fair amount of ass.

Perhaps this game's biggest shortcoming is the sluggish, basic nature of the fast-twitch action. In short, stepping into the cockpit of a dive-bomber or Destroyer-class vessel just isn't that much fun.
