ThinkPad X300 is not a cheap notebook, but it only costs the sum of the components it offers, so you're getting what you pay for. The SSD and 3G features make this a great road warrior, and Lenovo's ThinkPad design leaves us confident it will take a few knocks.

This is a solidly built unit that's a joy to use and has plenty of grunt for most applications. It also has versatile networking options, including the ability to connect to 5GHz 802.11n routers.

While it looks excellent, the T1 didn't quite perform to expectations, and unless design is of a primary concern to you, there are better deals elsewhere.

We don't feel that SideShow is the be all and end all of what this LG R200 has to offer, but it is a handy device if you set it up well. Beyond that the R200 is an incredibly portable unit with good battery life and enough grunt to get you by.

The LG W1 Pro Express Dual was let down by its speakers, encoding abilities and battery life, but the TV-tuner, number pad and the excellent screen are draw cards worth noting. Overall it's a strong machine, both structurally and component-wise.

For style and performance in a business machine, the LG E500 is a great option. It scored well in our benchmarks, including the battery test and includes some useful features.

While the LGE LS50-8 is light, looks great and has good battery life, is it slightly overpriced.

The LG P1 Pro Express Dual notebook is a nice machine to work with. It feels good, has some useful features and performed as we expected it to from the hardware installed. It will provide a good user experience for everyday use.

Good for its price if you are using it for productivity applications. However, try typing on it before you buy, as you may find the trackpad hampers your input.

This is a value-priced power notebook that's well geared towards multimedia use.

The MSI MegaBook EX600 is a solid, but far from outstanding unit. It will handle most basic tasks with ease, but will struggle with more demanding applications.
