The feature-set isn't bad and will get you by if you've got to have the Ferrari name, but the rest of us have no sensible reason to buy this machine at this price.

The Vostro 1200 is a good choice at a smart price for the travelling business user with good processing power, Wi-Fi connectivity and battery life, despite being let-down by some design issues.

Its screen is hard to view properly, but apart from that, the R500 is a genuine lightweight. At under 1kg, and with battery life longer than four hours, it's perfect for users who work long ours while on the road.

This laptop is the perfect size for the road warrior who wants to get online while on the go, and who also wants something that looks flashy. Its colour might be a little too feminine for most guys' taste, but women might find it irresistible.

It's well-suited to road warriors thanks to its light weight and built-in 3G module, but it's still not the perfect laptop. If you're going to go for the R500, opt for a solid-state drive instead of a conventional hard drive.

Although it isn't a bad unit in its own right, the Fujitsu doesn't shine as well as it should given its budget competitors and high price point. If you're looking for a unit that has a great touch screen, a fast Intel Atom processor and great connectivity, you're probably better off waiting a month until the upgraded 3G model reaches Australia.
