It’s good to see that Toshiba has improved this notebook and rectified some of the small performance flaws we noticed in the earlier M800. Overall the upgrade has seen small performance gains primarily in the graphics department. It's a great ultraportable notebook that offers strong performance despite its small size, and it is a joy to use on the go.

Spring for the extra battery (at an extra charge) to add needed life to this otherwise fine and very light travelling companion.

The lack of a built-in optical drive and the so-so keyboard mar this lightweight notebook; however, the price is reasonable for an ultraportable.

For its size and price this Acer is a great purchase. It has a strong selection of connectivity options crammed into a small package and good battery life as well.

The OQO E2 is quite an impressive little design with some good connectivity and would suite a number of tasks, as long as they require more portability than power

The U3 offers HDMI and eSATA ports, integrated HSDPA and GPS and features a dual graphics setup. Whether or not you are willing to sacrifice an internal optical drive for these features will determine if this stylish ultraportable is for you.
