A stylish, classy exterior with excellent build quality, just 10mm thin and boasting an superior keypad and controls despite its compact size. Add HSDPA support and an excellent user interface to the mix and the W890i is almost perfect.

The K608i proves that 3G handsets don't have to be big and bulky. It comes recommended and has an array of fine features, but an uncomfortable keypad and small internal memory detract from the overall package.

The K800i is definitely the cream of the crop if you are after a camera phone. It's still not good enough to replace a stand alone digital camera, but this handset has enough in other areas to ensure it is an attractive proposition.

If you overlook the large and bulky size, the W900i is definitely one of the best 3G handsets currently on the market. With excellent music functions, an impressive camera, quality display screen and user-friendly interface, the W900i is a true multimedia phone.

The Z800i is an excellent 3G phone with an exceptional external screen, but a disappointing camera and a poorly designed keypad.

The W880i is quite simply an outstanding mobile phone. A lack of FM radio and small controls isn't enough to detract from the overall class and quality of this unit.

An excellent music phone thanks to the Walkman application and a massive 4GB of storage space, but no camera or Wi-Fi and a poor keypad detract from the package.

Sony Ericsson continues to set high standards with their current range and the W850i is no exception. If you can look past the uncomfortable navigational pad, this is an excellent 3G phone.

The Z610i is a handset that will appeal to those who want something extremely stylish, yet not without substance.
