The Z310i is a solid, if not remarkable phone. If you are on a budget, it may be worth a look but the lack of memory and a poor display diminish its appeal.

The X680 is an ideal phone for the budget conscious consumer. It's well built, has Bluetooth and MP3 capabilities, and also features an attractive design.

The EasyTouch's personalised home screen is an excellent feature, but the rest of this handset is solid, without offering anything outstanding.

A very good phone in terms of features, but way too large and heavy for most people.

It lacks a camera or Wi-Fi support, but makes up for it with its compact design.

The RAZR is back again, but based on a design more than two years old, the V3 (RED) is understandably a very simple mobile phone. It works well without offering any outstanding features.

The Sapphire Arte 8800 commands a price that would make even the most ardent fashionista baulk. Its huge asking price won't get you the most advanced features though.

The W910i is another excellent addition to the Walkman range, combining a well-crafted design with some new music features. It doesn't come cheap, but provided you don't require an exceptional camera, this handset is definitely another winner.

The 8800 Arte is a stunning handset to look at, but its exuberant price means you don't get much bang for your buck.

The G800 is the cream of the crop when it comes to camera phones. Five megapixels, 3x optical zoom and face detect make this a handy imaging device to have in your pocket. Camera aside, the rest of the handset is solid, but not outstanding.

The 5300 XpressMusic does a great job at merging an MP3 player with a mobile phone, but you'll have to spring for a larger memory card to use it as an everyday player.

The hiptop gets a new coat of paint but no new features. It remains a very user-friendly device with some nice features, but multimedia buffs will be disappointed.
