The KF600’s unique touchpad is reasonably successful, but it’s not without its faults. Perhaps the biggest issue with the phone is the lack of 3G connectivity. However, this is still a reasonable handset.

The v1050 is a great phone for the style conscious while also catering to people know need something durable. It performs well and has quite a few great features but a low mega-pixel camera and a lack of wireless features hamper its brilliance.

LG’s KF510 is an interesting device that provides a well-implemented touchpad control system. The lighting effects are a nice touch, but this isn’t the greatest phone in terms of features. However, it represents good value at this price.

At this price, there is little to complain about. The KG270 does the basics well if you are after a cheap as chips mobile phone, though the keypad design may be frustrating for some.

The 8800 is a ridiculously expensive mobile handset for what it offers, but it looks absolutely fantastic. If you like to stand out in the crowd, then this phone is definitely for you.

HP’s iPAQ 912 Business Messenger certainly boasts plenty of features, but falls slightly short of many offerings from competitors. The lack of included navigational software combined with a small display may turn some users elsewhere.

If you need a handset to do the basics then the KG370 will suffice, but the keypad and controls are a slight annoyance.

The Xphone II bundles lots of features into a compact, sleek design. It would suit phone users needing basic organiser capabilities, but those wanting more comprehensive PDA features should stick to the Xda range.

The T250i is a simple handset with a decent design that should serve most users well.

The RAZR is back again, but based on a design more than two years old, the V3 (RED) is understandably a very simple mobile phone. It works well without offering any outstanding features.

The On Tour Mobile may be worth a look if you are after a portable, lightweight speaker for travelling, but don't expect the world in terms of sound quality.
