The 6120 Classic may not be outstanding, but it is stylish, affordable and has a generous features list.

While not as convenient as its wireless brothers, Sony Ericsson's HPM-85 offers better quality audio and a comfortable design, making it a good choice if you can handle a wired unit.

The W580i is another above average Walkman phone. Although the design isn't our cup of tea, the built-in pedometer is a nice touch, and should ensure this is another popular handset in the range.

The 6111 is an admirable entry into the mid-range mobile market and has quite an impressive list of features, although its small memory does detract from the overall package.

The Limited Edition Xda Atom Life adds the Windows Mobile 6 OS and a stylish white colour scheme, but nothing else has changed. Despite this, its still a very reasonable smart phone with a strong feature set.

Although it acts as a dual-function device, the Voyager 855 is best suited as a regular Bluetooth headset, providing excellent in-call audio quality. The detachable earpiece is a nice idea, but the small buttons and average sound quality diminish its appeal.

While O2 has impressed us in the past, the XDA Atom fails to live up to its potential. A small form factor and inbuilt Wi-Fi support fail to compensate for slow processing performance

The JASJAM is a fair device with a generous features list, but a slow processor and chunky size dampen its appeal.

We've never really seen the need for screen protectors as they get just as blurry and fingerprint splattered as an unprotected screen and so require just as much wiping. And because the iPhone's screen is made of glass (rather like Beckham's manager Ruud Gullit's knees) there is little chance of scratching it unless you clumsily run your diamond ring across it (careful, Posh!). However, the Echo's secondary function as a mirror does give it a handy twist if you require a mirror with you at all times. And even Becks can afford the $9.95 cost.

The Sudio Brio offers an excellent list of features for a Bluetooth headset, headed by caller ID and phonebook synchronisation.

The E590 is without doubt one of the most compact and lightweight handsets currently available on the market. But its plain, matte plastic design means you'll either love it, or hate it.

The MOTORAZR2 V8 is a solid, but not outstanding handset. Its build quality and design are excellent though, ensuring it should be a head turner.
