The Xbox 360 Elite is an attractive new shell for an already impressive gaming console. We would have liked to see the new features handled a little better but overall, it's still the same as the original Xbox 360.

The Playstation 3 online service pales in comparison to what is being offered on the rival Xbox 360 console with a wide range of shortcomings and only a handful of saving graces.

The Wii's ridiculously enjoyable titles and innovative, motion-sensitive controllers help make it feel more like a toy you'll want to share with a group of players than a console you'd use strictly on your own for hours on end. If you have a group of friends at the ready, or if you're looking to buy an affordable, fun console for yourself or your kids, get yourself a Wii.

While it will take a swipe at your bank balance, Sony's Playstation 3 is definitely a powerful machine. Offering incredible graphics and the added bonus of a Blu-Ray drive, it is a great console to complete your high definition lounge room setup.

The Xbox 360 is an incredible piece of hardware with very little great software to choose from. In the end, the potential for future brilliance far outweighs its immediate appeal.

With no expansion options, an unresponsive controller and a poor range of games, the Atari Flashback is a bitter disappointment. If you want to relive the 80’s, then its time to dust off the original.
