If you own a Harman Kardon receiver and an iPod, you should run out and buy this now. For the rest of us, you can just hope more products like this become available.

This is a fantastic unit with surprisingly good audio quality. Apart from some minor control issues, the TuneBase FM’s unique flexible neck ensures it is ahead of the competition.

The sound quality isn’t the greatest, but if you want a system to carry your music around then the included backpack and unique rubberised case may be of some interest.

We just can’t recommend this speaker system. Look elsewhere, even at previous Altec Lansing models, because this one has missed the gun.

It runs on batteries and looks as dull as a tack, but then again, it works with all MP3 players on the market. If you own an iPod however, we’d advise you to look at other options.

It needs a couple of extra presets and the wires are a touch messy, but otherwise, the ability to charge your iPod whilst playing it though your car stereo is an attractive one – and there’s no extra batteries!

Don't expect great sound quality, but the convenience factor and price are advantages.

At this price we just can’t recommend the DS-A1 to anyone. It does the core functions well but is missing some convenient features that may have justified its RRP.

Nano and Video iPod owners need to look elsewhere, but for everyone else, the TuneCommand should serve you well.

It’s not perfect, but the small, compact and easy to use iPod Radio Remote is a handy accessory. The ability to connect two headphone jacks while listening is an excellent feature as well.

A simple and easy to use device which is perhaps a little too expensive.

Simple, compact and very user friendly, the AirPlay2 is an ideal option; most notably for iPod nano owners.
