The iM5 is a decent unit and its extra outputs are a nice touch. But the lack of an included remote and better sounding units for similar or lower prices means it wouldn’t hurt looking elsewhere.

The TravelSound 400 isn’t going to blow you away in terms of sound quality, but for those who travel frequently, it is quite good value for money.

It won’t blow you away, but the SBA290 delivers admirable sound for a portable and compact speaker unit – if you can put up with the poorly designed controls.

The SBA220 sports a unique two-speaker design that has its advantages and disadvantages. At this price, we can’t complain about the sound quality though, so it’s a good buy.

The portability and durability of this product make it an attractive option if you are content with only ever owning an iPod mini or nano.

The SportCommand is ideal for those wanting to use an iPod during sporting activities, but its high price and a few other issues prevent it from being a great product.

For the price, we really can't complain about the Xa-10. This compact, flat panel set of speakers that will do the job for those who aren't too fussed about sound quality.
