If the iPod Hi-Fi wasn’t marketed as producing audiophile-quality sound, then perhaps we’d be inclined to be a little more lenient. At this price, we can’t recommend this system to anyone.

We just can’t recommend this speaker system. Look elsewhere, even at previous Altec Lansing models, because this one has missed the gun.

At this price we just can’t recommend the DS-A1 to anyone. It does the core functions well but is missing some convenient features that may have justified its RRP.

Don't expect great sound quality, but the convenience factor and price are advantages.

The i-PODiUM is ultimately let down by poor sound quality. This is a shame as the universal device support as well as charging and synchronising capabilities show there is potential for this to be a very useful unit.

An appealing choice for those interested in style over substance, anyone else should probably steer clear of this product.
