The Shine Slide has plenty of style, but a poorly designed keypad and questionable controls don't do this handset justice.

The J700 isn't going to win any awards, but it does a relatively sound job if you are after a budget handset with a few extra features. It is one of the better pre-paid handsets on the market.

A budget phone with a basic feature set

Unless you are particularly enamoured with the idea of Push To Talk, we would recommend a phone with more features and better controls.

Housed in a sleek and sophisticated design, the D900 is another excellent handset from Samsung that is only let down by a below average battery life.

The D500 is an excellent mobile handset and comes highly recommended. It is packed full of features and offers an impressive camera, but the battery life is substantially poorer than most other models.

The M6110 just doesn't offer enough for us to recommend it. It's lacking some more advanced features and you'll find it difficult and frustrating to operate.

The KG800 is a stunning entry into the market and combines a distinctive touchpad with sleek styling. A must have for its wow factor alone.

Motorola's first ever slider phone is a solid, but not outstanding mobile phone. The MOTORIZR offers a well balanced set of features for a pretty good price, but there is nothing new or unique about this handset.

If you can overlook the poor slider, the X530 is a good choice for those on a budget, combining a sleek and stylish design with some basic phone features.

For its asking price, the E250 definitely packs quite a punch. Samsung includes features normally reserved for more expensive handsets, making it an excellent mobile for those on a budget.

The MOTOROKR Z6 corrects two of Motorola's biggest issues - user interface and speed - making it an excellent handset overall.
