The E590 is without doubt one of the most compact and lightweight handsets currently available on the market. But its plain, matte plastic design means you'll either love it, or hate it.

The U100 may not have a generous features list and lacks a memory card slot, but it wows with its design alone. At just 5.9mm thin and a weight of 59g, it really is a stunning piece of industrial design.

The wow factor of the MOTOROKR E8's morphing keypad alone is enough to turn heads. Although the lack of 3G may be a deal-breaker for some, this remains a stylish and commendable music handset.

If you are looking for a solid mid-range handset then the 6103 is definitely in your ballpark.

The Samsung X830 is a fashion-orientated phone with a unique design and quite a good music player. Unfortunately, it sacrifices too many features to deem it a worthwhile purchase.

The 6131 is an outstanding mobile phone with a high quality display and excellent keypad. Its camera is the only letdown of a handset that has a long features list considering its asking price.

Its music player is not as good as we expected, but the Motorola ROKR does have some redeeming features.

The Z520i is a welcome addition to the populated mid-range mobile market, and provides a substantial amount of features for a good price.

The M6110 just doesn't offer enough for us to recommend it. It's lacking some more advanced features and you'll find it difficult and frustrating to operate.

A solid walkman phone that is let down a little by its irritating keypad. If you need a small handset with great music playback this is a good choice.

The W700i is an excellent Walkman phone with a number of good features. It is also great value for money.
