The C220 is a solid choice if you're after an entry-level GPS unit. Excellent maps, speedy performance and a competitive price may be enough to overlook the sometimes confusing interface.

The C720t is very similar to the successful C520, so it remains a great unit with plenty of features. Unfortunately, the geotagging feature is poorly implemented, so we're not convinced this is worth the extra cost over its little brother, though the included TMC cradle kit is ideal if you are planning to use the traffic feature.

The C320 is very similar to the successful C520, minus a couple of features. It represents great value for money at this price point and is ideal for first time users, or those who just want a GPS unit without extra bells and whistles like Bluetooth and multimedia functions.

Navigon’s 2150max is certainly reasonable value at this price. Lane assistance, text-to-speech and Bluetooth hands-free combined with comprehensive safety warnings and a reasonably intuitive interface make it a credible choice.

Navigon’s 2110max is a reasonably low priced GPS, but the lack of text-to-speech and Bluetooth capabilities may be a deal breaker for some.

The S90i is Navman's cream of the crop, and it is certainly a fine unit. The 2-megapixel camera adds flexibility for using NavPix.

The S30 is an ideal GPS unit for those on a budget. The entry level unit combines a stylish design with good maps, a reasonable feature set and a very competitive price.

The S50 adds Bluetooth handsfree and NavPix for a reasonable price. Although there is no camera to take NavPix photos, it's still a useful application.

The S80 is the third product in Navman's S-Series range and introduces text-to-speech technology to an otherwise largely similar unit to the S50.

Although the S150 doesn't have all of the features of its more expensive sibling, Bluetooth hands-free remains, as does the excellent navigational experience.

The S300T is Navman’s best GPS yet. While the glide interface isn’t perfect, its ease of use is certainly appreciated. An excellent design, a clean map screen and clear voice instructions combined with a heap of extra features make this an excellent choice.

As a basic, entry-level GPS unit at this price, the F20 does quite a fine job. It doesn't include speed or red light camera warnings and is thin on included accessories, but an easy to grasp interface and solid maps provide a pleasing navigational experience - even for first time GPS users.
