The LG W1 Pro Express Dual was let down by its speakers, encoding abilities and battery life, but the TV-tuner, number pad and the excellent screen are draw cards worth noting. Overall it's a strong machine, both structurally and component-wise.

The LG P1 Pro Express Dual notebook is a nice machine to work with. It feels good, has some useful features and performed as we expected it to from the hardware installed. It will provide a good user experience for everyday use.

The Toshiba Satellite M110 is not likely to turn heads for its performance, but it's an affordable notebook with enough power to satisfy most people. The bonus features of the Satellite range make it a versatile unit that will handle a number of tasks. It's perfect for the casual user.

As a notebook, media player or desktop replacement this machine will do a good job. If you're hoping to watch high definition media there are few other options. Although there's a hefty price tag, it only reflects the stacks of hardware put together in this system that make it a worthwhile purchase for anyone's needs.

The Fujitsu P7230 ultra portable notebook doesn't offer stellar performance, but its impressive battery life will keep you up and running for long periods of time and its light-weight design with the 10in screen make it very easy to carry around.

The Toshiba Portege R400 Tablet PC may carry a premium price tag, but it comes with some innovative new features and the promise of more still in later models. It's sturdy and lightweight, and looks stylish. Although it might be better to wait until the potential of this unit has been realised, it's still a top product and a pleasure to use.

The Hewlett-Packard Compaq Nx6320 is a good choice for business users due to its great performance and impressive battery life. It is also rather lightweight as well, so it won't become a hassle to carry around.

This is a nice little unit with plenty of features. It performed well, has good connectivity and is quite portable.

The Acer TravelMate 4223WLMi performed well in our tests, had some good integrated features and was reasonably comfortable to use, once you get used to the keyboard design. However, at this price point you can get notebooks with notably better performance and newer technology (such as Core 2 Duo CPUs).

The Fujitsu LifeBook S6311 is a professional notebook with some nice features. It performed well in our tests and it's fairly priced for it's quality.
