Ignoring price, this is probably the best Blu-ray player we've seen to date. If you're willing to pay a premium then it's an excellent product.

By modern standards it may be considered a slightly 'old' unit, lacking the latest in home entertainment technology, but for those looking for a great quality receiver, the AVR 245 is hard to pass up.

While we experienced some problems using a Sonos system with a ZoneBridge, they weren't out of the ordinary (unfortunately) for network streaming devices. We'd still recommend a ZoneBridge if you're going to spring for a Sonos system and your router is in an area of the house where you don't plan on listening to tunes.

The best part about the Mediagate is its versatility. It can play files off a hard drive, a USB stick or off a network. The worst part is its interface and setup procedure, which took us a while to connect to our wireless network.

The HD-EP10 from Toshiba is the most affordable HD-DVD player capable of 1080p playback on the market, and is an excellent option for those looking for an inexpensive way to experience HD-DVD.

The HKTS 11 is a truly fantastic set of speakers. The quality of the audio is exceptional, and for those that can afford it, it's well worth checking out.

The Rock remote control for Windows Vista does exactly what it says on the box. While it won't be the most essential purchase you'll ever make, it performs its primary function decidedly well.

A system with a huge range of inputs, including Bluetooth, the Sony CMT-HX5BT is a good choice for those with plenty of music. Unfortunately, the audio quality is let-down in the treble; however, the bass and mid-range are excellent.

The Sony HTSF2000 is an impressive system. It comes at a relatively high price, but the quality and power it delivers are worth the investment.

The BDP-S500 is a powerful Blu-ray player, geared towards enthusiasts. Its high-end audio capabilities is best suited to a system that already has high quality audio products, although even on its own it's a great device.

A fantastic universal remote, Logitech's Harmony One is able to vastly simplify home entertainment. For users with expansive setups, this is an excellent way to bring them all together.

The BDP-S300 is an excellent value Blu-ray player, delivering a great feature list for a much more affordable price than most advanced units.
