Definitely not one for the average consumer, but if you really do need to replace a dozen remote controls, perhaps this is for you

The Sanyo could have been quite a decent combination device, but it gets too many little things wrong.

Perfect for teens, the CD-SW200E delivers less than stellar sound quality, but makes up for it with simple and easy to use features.

As a storage device, the ScreenPlay HD excels — it’s fast and has plenty of storage space. Its media playback abilities leave plenty to be desired, however, with limited format support and an uninspiring interface.

A huge home theatre system with over the top styling and a wide range of functions let down by a poor range of connections.

Consider it an opportunity missed.

A frustratingly difficult interface detracts from what would otherwise be a standout product. Everything on the TU-HDT104A works, but for ease of use and intuitive functionality look for a different receiver.

We cannot in good faith recommend this system to anyone. Even if the sound quality was exquisite, a similar level can be achieved at a much lower price and in full surround.

Make no mistake, it sounds great, but at this sort of price you'd expect it to be able to fly you to the moon and back.

The DVRW250X is marred by a confusing and irritating interface.

An easy to use streamer with the advantage of supporting some HD formats, let down by some extremely irritating bugs.

Whilst the sound quality might be above average with no real component or HDMI connections and a price tag that rivals the economy of New Zealand we cannot in good faith recommend this unit. There are better sounding, more fully featured packages for one third of the price.
