If you live in a space constrained environment, Sony's DAV-IS10 may be a great home theatre solution for you. While the audio quality isn't incredible it is definitely above average, and the tiny speakers will fit in basically any location, bringing surround sound to even the smallest of rooms.

The Sony DSTHD100 is innovative and easy to use, despite a few minor flaws.

Definitely not one for the average consumer, but if you really do need to replace a dozen remote controls, perhaps this is for you

The best looking home theatre system currently on the market, but it is let down by having a mass of components and not have the substance to match its style.

The BDP-S300 is an excellent value Blu-ray player, delivering a great feature list for a much more affordable price than most advanced units.

The BDP-S500 is a powerful Blu-ray player, geared towards enthusiasts. Its high-end audio capabilities is best suited to a system that already has high quality audio products, although even on its own it's a great device.

The Sony HTSF2000 is an impressive system. It comes at a relatively high price, but the quality and power it delivers are worth the investment.

A system with a huge range of inputs, including Bluetooth, the Sony CMT-HX5BT is a good choice for those with plenty of music. Unfortunately, the audio quality is let-down in the treble; however, the bass and mid-range are excellent.

Expensive, but stacked with features and has power to burn.

If you need a fast way to make DVDs without a computer, the VRD-MC5 is a relatively cheap and user-friendly option. Unfortunately, its unashamed bias towards Sony-branded camcorders slightly lessens its charms.

As an enthusiast device, the PSLX300USB's advantages lie in its ability to digitally encode vinyl via computer. For connecting directly to a home audio setup, there are better options.

We like the new form factor, we like the Blu-ray player and we like the HDMI output, but the external USB TV-tuner should really be an internal device. That aside, the TP2G is a good performer and has a reasonable amount of space on board for media enthusiasts.
