The Lexmark T430dn prints clean text quickly enough to satisfy a small workgroup, but its graphics output looks dark and unrealistic.

Neither of the new Lexmark wireless multifunction printers is cheap, but the wireless features are well worth looking into. Add to that great ease of use and very competent print quality, and the X4850 is a very decent model for photo enthusiasts.

The Lexmark X6570 isn't particularly cheap, and there is obviously the question of whether the text output would really be good enough for business work -- in many cases, a cheap mono laser would be a better bet. However, you do get good fax facilities and colour printing, and if the wireless facilities are of interest then this makes a very decent buy.

The Lexmark P915 is priced low and includes common features like media card slots and a color LCD, but they don't make up for the poor print quality and expensive consumables.

While the Lexmark P315 is easy enough to use, it is mediocre in every other area.

Lexmark's budget-priced colour laser delivers fast, high-quality text. Albeit without the option for a duplexer, but you can increase your paper tray to a 530-sheet tray for an additional cost.

Overall, the C534dn produces good quality prints, especially for colour documents. End users should find it easy to use, while IT managers will appreciate the user restrictions and security options that are on offer.

While this unit has plenty of great features, we were disappointed by its print and photocopy quality. Photo printing may require a little fiddling in an image editor beforehand to get the colour balance correct.

If you want a machine that can do it all, and also one that offers plenty of convenience, the X9350 can't be overlooked. It's very well priced and would suit either a home environment or a small office.

This package distinguishes itself by offering a good software suite that would benefit anyone who has not had much experience with a multi-function device. It is highly recommended for the small office, although for photo printing you may have to tinker with the colour balance of your photos first to get good results.

The Lexmark X9575 provides some valuable and well-implemented features. However, print speeds and quality detract from this multifunction’s overall appeal.

With a great price but slow performance and mediocre print quality, the X2250 seems appropriate only for those on the tightest of budgets.
