Microsoft confirms Bungie working on new Halo game
And it has nothing to do with the upcoming Halo Wars or the in-limbo Halo Chronicles, says Xbox boss Don Mattrick.

In speaking with MTV News on Tuesday, Mattrick said that Bungie is working on a new Halo game, but that Microsoft didn't want to announce it yet for fear of stealing thunder from their current lineup of games, including Gears of War 2.

Yesterday, Bungie blamed their publisher (now confirmed to be Microsoft) for not allowing them to announce their new game (now confirmed to be Halo related) this week.

"We were looking forward to sharing (a new game announcement) with our fan community during the week of E3," said Bungie President Harold Ryan. "However, those plans were just changed by our publisher."
