The greatest show on Earth: The Kipnis Studio Standard
$6 million worth of home cinema

This is the Kipnis Studio Standard. It was built with the intention of creating the best possible movie experience possible. Read on to find out where all that money went. The projector screen is made of ultra-fine laboratory-grade material. The projector is an ultra-high resolution Sony SRX-S110, with a resolution four times higher than the Full HD standard of Blu-ray. The sound system is technically "8.8": eight surround sound speakers and eight subwoofers. Even though that sounds extreme, you’ll be able to count far more than eight surround sound speakers in that picture. That’s because there are multiple speakers for each channel… For example, the centre channel of the surround sound system is covered by not one, but three Snell LCR-2800 speakers. And while there were eight subwoofers hidden under the floor originally, that’s now been expanded to a ridiculous 16. All of this means that the sound system is utterly capable and over-powered, ready to tackle any frequency from 10 Hertz to 100 Kilohertz — light-years ahead of the 20 Hertz to 20 Kilohertz cutoff imposed on a regular audio CD. And power? It’s got more than enough. The entire audio setup is capable of almost 12000 Watts RMS — exceeding the power capacities of a normal home electricity circuit six times over.
