The minute we took the I-mate JAMin out of the box, we thought we were seeing double. Small, black and with rounded edges, the JAMin bears a striking resemblance to the new O2 XDA Atom.

Welcome to the device that has everything. The strangely named JasJar from I-mate is technically a smartphone, as it combines both PDA and mobile phone functionality. However, given the size, weight and form factor of this model it's more appropriate to think of it almost as a 'mini-laptop.'

The aptly named Omnipage Professional 15 from ScanSoft allows users to scan both images and documents, edit them as text and export them as a different file type. The program is designed to be used in conjunction with a scanner, or you can simply work with existing files.

We recently had a look at, and were quite impressed with, the DT-720 standard definition set top box from Australian company Mediastar. The HDT-1100 is the high definition offering from the same firm.
