This expertise has been expanded into broadband-related hardware, with NetComm now holding a commanding position across the markets of DSL modems, routers, high-speed networking, wireless, Voice over IP and digital surveillance products.

Broadband - modem devices allow you to access the fast speeds of broadband Internet. NetComm offers modems and routers compatible with ADSL, SHDSL and Cable Internet services.

Wireless - has been a revolution for computer networking allowing users to connect from virtually anywhere in the home. We have a number of products available for 11Mbps and 54Mbps wireless connection speeds. In fact, NetComm was the one of the first companies to establish a 2Mbps wireless network when wireless burst on to the scene back in 1999.

Networking - with a range of switches and adaptors NetComm products can easily connect computers together to share resources and files. We also have the unique Ethernet over Power (HomePlug) units that allow you to network computers using your power points

Voice over IP (VoIP) – a new revolution that allows you to make phone calls over the Internet, NetComm’s VoIP products are easy to install and we have a complete range of products for home and small business users – ranging from simple entry-level Analogue Telephone Adaptors through to full business-grade VoIP gateways. IP Surveillance - digital video technology is relatively new to Australia but one area that is quickly growing in popularity as a viable alternative to analogue Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) systems. With a range of indoor/outdoor still, infra-red and Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) cameras, NetComm has an extensive choice of IP Surveillance solutions.

Dial-up modems - NetComm maintains its dominance in dial-up modems holding over 60 per cent of the Australian market. With our origins in dial-up modems, NetComm provides a complete range including desktop, internal and USB modems. We also provide industry with a wide-range of industrial and commercial modem solutions. In fact, NetComm modems feature in most things you interact with each day including ATM’s, EFTPOS machines, traffic lights, alarms, medical equipment and lots more.

For over 20 years, NetComm has been an Australian leader (initially in dial-up modems) and now in broadband hardware and solutions and will continue to develop products suited to the needs of Australian homes and business.

We are also expanding our reach into New Zealand with NetComm’s recently acquired subsidiary Dynalink Modems.
