ASUS’ DSL-N13 is easy to set up and simple to maintain. This modem router provides a host of features but delivers poor speeds, making it unsuitable for heavy use.

This all-in-one ADSL2+ router is stylish, and it also proved to be reliable in our tests, albeit a little slow. If you shop around, you should be able to find it for $130-$150, which makes it great value.

You'll get plenty out of this all-in-one unit, which contains an ADSL2+ modem as well as an 802.11 draft-n access point. It's easy to use and best of all, it's very well priced.

It's a little sluggish, but the N1 Vision modem proved to be reliable during our testing period and its built-in screen does come in handy.

If you want a wireless modem/router that can also distribute a USB-based 3G data card, this will do.

While it doesn't have the fastest wireless networking facilities, this modem/router performed reliably in our tests and produced good wireless range. Some of its features are cryptic, but novice users shouldn't be discouraged as it's actually an easy unit to configure for Internet access and wireless networking.

It doesn't look pretty, nor does it feature the fastest networking options, but it's a reliable all-in-one ADSL2+ modem with built-in VoIP capabilities.

A PC Card slot allows this ADSL modem/router to double as a 3G modem/router. It performed very well in our tests and ships with a car kit, which, in effect, can turn your car into a mobile hotspot.

This all-in-one ADSL2+ modem, 4-port switch and wireless access point is very affordable and does a good all-round job. It was a little slow in its wireless transfers to Centrino notebooks, but for under $100, that's excusable.

It proved to be a solid unit throughout our test period and we don't have any reservations recommending it if you're in the market for an ADSL2+ router with fast wireless networking capabilities.

It is a bit pricey, but it is full of features and comes with a three-year warranty, making it perfect for a small business.

Overall, this is a solid unit for a home network and it achieved some of the best throughput results in our tests.
