    Transcend has added a new rugged USB flash drive to its range of memory products. The Transcend JetFlash V70 is claimed to have anti-shock features, survive dust and splashes. For this, its exterior casing is made of rubber, and has a tethered cap holder that will help prevent losing the cap.

    ASUS Formula Series Radeon graphics cards 21/08/2009 08:01:00

    Asus has launched its Formula Series of graphics cards. Two cards are available currently -- the Radeon 4770 (EAH4770 FORMULA/DI/512MD5) and Radeon 4890 (EAH4890 FORMULA/HTDI/1GD5). Asus says their Formula Series cards are inspired by Formula One racing cars. For those who want design exclusivity and the gaming enthusiast, the heatsink and cooling-fan are even aerodynamically styled to look like an F1 racing car.

    Fujitsu announced the launch of the 0-Watt-PC to its proGreen series. This energy-saving PC, announced earlier at this year's CeBIT, is now available for shipping in two versions: the Esprimo E7935 0-Watt (small form factor) and Esprimo P7935 0-Watt (microtower).

    Samsung has announced the launch of its S1 Mini ultra-portable external hard drive with a maximum disk capacity of 250GB. The Samsung S1 Mini features a USB 1.8-inch hard drive which is the size of a credit card, thereby making it extremely pocketable and easy to carry around. Until now it was only available in 120GB and 160GB capacities, but the new release includes 200GB and 250GB models in addition to the new existing models.

    Zotac bundles 'Boost Software' with GeForce graphic cards 23/07/2009 05:30:00

    From August onwards, buyers of Zotac's GeForce series of graphics cards will now receive a little bit extra software bundled into the package, besides just the drivers themselves. Labelled "ZOTAC Boost" by the company, the bundle consists of 30-day trial versions of three video applications and a 90-day trial of a virus scanner.

    Transcend launches 2.5-inch SSD25D with DRAM Cache 22/07/2009 03:56:00

    Transcend has announced the availability of its "ultra-speed" Solid State Drive with model number SSD25D. It is a 2.5 inch drive (laptop hard disk form factor) that operates over the SATA II interface. It has 64MB of inbuilt DRAM cache. SSDs are generally more durable, reliable, and have lower power consumption than spinning magnetic hard drives.
