Canon EOS 450D

With the release of its latest SLR, the EOS 450D, Canon has created an interesting dynamic in its product range. While it is technically the successor to the high-selling EOS 400D, which sits at the base of its line-up, the EOS 450D packs in several ...

TDK EB-200

Like the EB-300 headphones that we reviewed a little while back, TDK's EB-200s are nothing special. As their low price tag indicates, they are designed as a basic alternative to your stock MP3 player earbuds. Although they do have some redeeming feat...

Canon IXUS 970IS

Sitting at the top of the new IXUS units, the Canon IXUS 970IS is another impressive compact camera. While not as petite as its smaller cousins, the IXUS 80IS and the IXUS 85IS, it offers a larger, 5x optical zoom as well as the same impressive featu...

In pictures: New Nikon CoolPix cameras

Nikon's new additions to their CoolPix range continue the trend of past models by including nifty features such as wireless connectivity and alternate colour schemes. There are models to suit most levels of experience and enthusiasm.

Canon IXUS 85IS

It may be a cliche by now to use the phrase "if it ain't broke don't fix it" in a review context, but nothing better sums up Canon's approach to their latest line of IXUS units. The IXUS 85 doesn't really diverge too much from the trend set by past m...

FujiFilm FinePix J10

Sitting slightly lower in FujiFilm's FinePix camera lineup than the J50 we looked at recently, the J10 is nonetheless similar in many ways. It is a basic entry-level camera targeted at users who need a point-and-shoot-unit with no frills. Its feature...

LG Flatron W1942T

Designed as an all-purpose display for users who don't need something too large, the 19in LG Flatron W1942T is a fairly solid panel. It exhibited a few minor image quality issues in our tests but its overall performance was quite good. The price tag ...

Sony compact camera line-up

The cameras in Sony's latest line of compacts feature some impressive improvements on previous models. Included in the new models are things such as a 13.6-megapixel sensor, a 15x optical zoom and a host of stabilisation options, meaning there should...

TDK ST-PRO300

TDK's ST-PRO300 headphones are supposed to be studio quality DJ headphones. Unfortunately, they are let down in a number of areas, including design and audio quality. While for the price they aren't a terrible buy, professional DJs and audiophiles sh...

FujiFilm FinePix J50

FujiFilm's FinePix J50 is an entry-level, 8.2Mp point-and-shoot camera targeted at users who want something with an above average zoom. The FinePix J50 packs in a 5x optical zoom lens while maintaining a slim body. This unit has a simple interface th...

iRiver T60

Sporting a prism shaped design and all the basic features you'd expect out of a modern music player, the iRiver T60 is a fairly solid portable music player. The interface is a little fiddly and the design isn't as easy to fit in your pocket as some M...

Canon refreshes its line up of IXUS cameras

Featuring image stabilisation, Canon's new IXUS line-up follows the same trend as the manufacturer's past models. Combining high-quality photos with sexy builds and an intuitive interface, they are great all purpose cameras regardless of your skill l...

Sharp LC42D63X

Sitting slightly below its premium D83X series, Sharp's LC42D63X is a 42in LCD TV that offers the same 1080p full high-definition resolution along with a stylish design and 24p playback, but lacks the 100/120Hz motion options of its more expensive br...

iRiver E100

The portable media player space has stagnated a little in recent times, with Apple seemingly still in control of things. However, other companies, such as iRiver, are still fighting for their piece of the pie. This is evidenced by iRiver's latest ent...

TDK EB-300

Sporting a basic in-ear headphone design, the TDK EB-300s are a dirt-cheap alternative to your default MP3 player headphones. While their sound quality is far from stellar, considering the cost it is perfectly acceptable. They should suit users looki...

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
