Sandisk Sansa Fuze

When taking a look at our product shots, you'd be forgiven for thinking this review is just another write-up of the latest iPod nano. In design and style, Sandisk's latest portable media player, the Sansa Fuze, certainly resembles its competitor from...

Samsung L110

Samsung's L110 is a basic entry-level camera. Sporting an 8.2-megapixel sensor and optical image stabilisation, it does little to stand out from the crowd. However it's a reasonable option for users looking for a simple point-and-shoot camera without...

Panasonic DMR-BW500

Announced just moments ago, Panasonic's DMR-BW500 is Australia's first standalone Blu-ray recorder. Featuring a drive that both reads and writes Blu-ray discs, as well as a 500GB hard disk and two high-definition digital tuners this device is well su...

Olympus E-420

The E-420 is a small camera at the bottom of Olympus' SLR line-up. Despite the camera's diminutive design, not much has been sacrificed in the way of features. We were disappointed by the lack of image stabilisation, but live view is present as is Ol...

Panasonic TH-42PX8A

When any product has the number 1,000,000 in its specifications, it's enough to make us sit up and take notice. In this case it is Panasonic's latest plasma screen, the TH-42PX8A, which has a quoted dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 (15,000:1 nat...

Pentax K20D

Following in the footsteps of the Pentax K10D we looked at last year comes the new and improved K20D. Sporting the same impressive build quality as its predecessor, this unit is more of an upgrade than anything else. However, the additions are welcom...

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W150

Sporting an 8.1-megapixel (Mp) sensor and a 5x optical zoom, Sony's latest mid-range W series unit, the Cyber-Shot DSC-W150, is a competent compact digital camera. It takes fairly good quality snaps, and has standard compact camera features along wit...

Altec Lansing T612

Although the market has been flooded with iPod and MP3 player docks that allow you to share your music with those around you, they don't typically work in conjunction with your mobile phone. However, if you own an iPhone, that's exactly what the Alte...

TDK's ST-100 headphones offer decent sound quality for a low price. With a portable design and reasonable audio quality, these entry-level headphones are a solid option for users looking to upgrade from their default MP3 player ear buds without spend...

Sigma DP-1

Sigma's DP-1 is one of the more interesting cameras we've had through the office in recent months. Utilising a Foveon sensor, rather than the more traditional CCD or CMOS, this unit also carries a fixed 28mm lens with no zoom capabilities. While it c...

New SLR from Olympus

Replacing the older E-510 model, Olympus' new mid-tier SLR, the E-520, is as feature-filled as its predecessor.

Canon PowerShot A590IS

With a relatively low price tag, the 8-megapixel Canon PowerShot A590IS is an enticing entry-level camera. It packs in full manual shooting options as well as a stabilized 4x optical zoom lens and a nifty array of other features. It's a good choice f...

Canon IXUS 90IS

With a boxy, retro design that differs somewhat from the sleek and multi-coloured designs of its IXUS compatriots, the IXUS 90IS is the final member of a trio of new models in this series. Packing in a 10-megapixel sensor, a large screen and image st...

Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 7000

The Laser Desktop 7000, a keyboard and mouse package, is Microsoft's latest wireless peripheral. While it is difficult for anyone to make a particularly revolutionary product in this market, Microsoft has made a few nifty improvements over past model...

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
