LG DP9821P

First impressions of LG's latest portable DivX DVD player did not bode well for the system. The case exterior is modelled in a cheap-looking pearly plastic, making it look almost like a jewellery box, rather than a portable entertainment system.

LG LH-W750TA 700W Wireless Home Theatre

The average wired home theatre system needs upwards of nine or 10 cables to get up and running. Thankfully, several companies have released wireless alternatives over the last year, and the LG LH-W750 700W Wireless Home Theatre is emerging as one of ...

Kenwood SAT5100 Audio Visual Control Centre

Kenwood's SAT5100 Audio Visual Control Centre comes with the bare essentials: that is, a subwoofer, a set of speakers and a receiver/amplifier. This kind of kit is a good solution if you want to upgrade to a surround system but are happy with your ex...

Olympus C-7070 Wide Zoom

The obvious selling point of the C-7070 is the wide-angle lens, which shoots the equivalent of 27 to 110mm in 35mm format. Look beyond that, however, and you'll find a solid camera with just a few niggling problems that hold it back from being great.

Casio EXILIM PRO EX-P700

A small camera in a big camera's category, the EX-P700 is one of the smallest cameras in its class. It's almost small enough to fit in a pocket. Don't be fooled, however, it combines most of the features of a high-end professional camera into a compa...

Olympus MJU 500

Olympus' MJU Digital 500 is a disappointing offering in the 5 megapixel digital camera category. We have come to expect great things from them, with cameras such as the MJU 800 performing exceptionally well for their price. The MJU 500 looks as tho...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20

The Panasonic FZ20 has been accurately described as "SLR-like". It's an advanced point-and-shoot models that offers many of the features of an SLR, without actually utilising that technology.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1

With a massive 8.4 megapixel resolution, Panasonic's Lumix DMC-LX1 is one of the most powerful cameras in its category. It comes sporting a 4X optical zoom, widescreen photo aspect ratio (16:9) and a popup flash.

Casio Exilim EX-Z750

The Exilim EX-Z750's beautiful 2.5" LCD screen catches your eye immediately. The extra half an inch it has on most of the competition may not sound like much, but on a small camera such as this, a 2.5"LCD is massive, taking up most of the back. This ...

Canon PowerShot A95

There is something strange going on when cameras seem to get bigger as technology gets smaller. The A95 is a big camera. With batteries in, it tipped our scales at 350g, yet it only sports a 3X optical zoom and a 1.8" LCD. It's definitely not suitabl...

WowWee Robopet

The Robopet is the third in WowWee's animated robot series, and it is by far the smallest. The miniature canine is about the size of a large shoe, but don't be fooled by his diminutive size, the Robopet offers a ton of fun functionality, and makes a...

STYLISTIC Q572

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
