Microsoft's kind of blue

What do Gatorade (some flavours!), the Cookie Monster and high-definition media all have in common? They come in blue; now Microsoft is joining the party. At the centre of its new peripheral line-up is BlueTrack technology, a tracking system that wil...

Sharp LC-37D33X

Filling the gap for users who want a TV upgrade but aren’t willing or able to splurge on a large 1080p panel, Sharp’s LC-37D33X is a mid-range 37in screen. It performed relatively well in our tests, but had a few issues with pixelation, black levels ...

Sony KDL20S4000

All the talk these days is about massive flat panel TVs for living rooms or personal theatres. 100Hz, 1080p and 24p playback are the order of the day. It's easy to forget that there is another market for TVs: secondary units for the kitchen or bedroo...

FujiFilm FinePix S100fs

Sporting a gigantic 14.3x optical zoom lens and a robust black plastic body, you could be forgiven for mistaking the FujiFilm S100fs for an SLR. But although it is larger than some SLRs on the market, this unit doesn’t quite go all the way. It falls ...

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

Windows 10 / HP Spectre x360

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

Windows 10 / Lenovo Yoga 910

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
