One of the first things we do with a camera, before we get down to the nitty gritty reviewing process, is just spend fifteen minutes snapping shots of whatever catches our fancy. It is an attempt to get a beginners feel for the camera, before puttin...

Nikon Coolpix P2

"Really, that thing has Wi-Fi?"; that seemed to be the phrase of the day around the office when we whipped out Nikon's Coolpix P2 and begun our testing procedure. The rather blocky, almost archaic design of this model belies the powerful technology ...

Nikon Coolpix S4

When you see as many digital cameras as we do, it really takes something really eye-catching to grab your attention. At first glance, Nikon's S4 looks like a regular, albeit rather large point and shoot. That is until you realise the lens and flash...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30

The current flagship model for Panasonic's camera range, the FZ30 is an impressive piece of imaging hardware. Built like an SLR, the FZ30 is a bulky, solid camera with a non retractable lens and a full manual zoom ring. The only thing lacking is th...
