Larger Than Life Computing

We have always wondered if there was a reason people didn't use LCD TV's or Plasma displays as their regular PC monitor. Newer HD capable televisions support resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080, and with prices steadily being driven downwards, this has ...

Sporting one of the highest contrast ratios available with LCD technology, Toshiba's 27" 27WL55A LCD TV produces high quality imagery at its native resolution of 720p--although the picture quality does suffer from some inherent graininess.

Recognising the need for ever more storage in PCs, Iomega has released a series of external USB 2.0 hard drives, ranging in size from 60GB to 400GB. We tested the 120GB version on a machine running Windows XP, although the drive also works with other...

The versatile InFocus ScreenPlay 7205 produces a crisp image with phenomenal colour detail. This is a slightly ordinary looking projector, with its dull light grey casing. At 325 x 350 x 109mm and 4.3kg, the 7205 is not petite, but the handle at the ...

HP Digital Projector ep9012

HP's ep9012 home cinema projector looks like something you would find on the set of 2001: A Space Odyssey, rather than in a home theatre. It's an all-in-one home theatre solution that includes an on-board DVD player and internal speakers and subwoofe...

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
