Apple releases iOS update to fix headphone audio controls

iOS 10.0.2 is now available.

iOS 10 is ten days old, and it’s already had a couple of updates—on Friday, Apple released iOS 10.0.2.

According to the release notes, the 56.1MB update does the following:

  • Addresses an issue that could prevent headphone audio controls from temporarily not working
  • Resolves an issue that caused Photos to quit for some users when turning on iCloud Photo Library
  • Fixes an issue that prevented enabling some app extension

Before you install the update, it’s a good idea to back up your iOS device. You can install the update directly on your iOS device that’s connected to the internet. In the Settings app, tap Software Update, and the 10.0.2 update should appear. Tap Download and Install to start the process.

You can also update your iOS device by connecting it to your computer and then running the iTunes software.

If you haven’t made the switch to iOS 10 yet, you can learn more about the new operating system.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
