Kogan Mobile offers new affordable prepaid plan

Claims its unlimited standard national talk and text prepaid plan sets affordability and accessibility benchmark

Kogan Mobile has introduced a new unlimited standard national talk and text prepaid offer that it claims is the most affordable offer currently in the Australian market.

The new 1XL prepaid plan offers unlimited standard national talk and text and 1GB of data per 30 days of use within Australia from under $0.50 a day, when purchased on a yearly plan.

The exact prepaid pricing is:

  • $16.90 for 30 days ($0.57 per day) or
  • $46.90 for 90 days ($0.52 per day) or
  • $179.90 for 365 days (less than $0.50 per day)

Kogan Mobile founder and chief executive, Ruslan Kogan, said, “The common message we have been hearing from customers is that they want ‘peace of mind’ and no nasty bill shock. No matter how you use your phone, Kogan Mobile has an option that will save a lot of money. We’re always listening to our customers and working hard to ensure that our prices are unbeatable.”

“Kogan Mobile is focused on delivering accessibility and affordability to all Aussies. It’s 2016 — the freedom to call whoever you want whenever you want and not worry about the duration of the call is a privilege all of us should have, and we’re working day and night to provide it,” he added.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
