LG confirms G4 camera ahead of Samsung Galaxy S6 launch

LG Innotek confirms the G4 flagship will come with a 16MP camera

LG has confirmed the camera of its upcoming flagship less than 24 hours before the rivalling Samsung Galaxy S6 goes on sale in Australia.

The upcoming LG G4 flagship will come with a 16 megapixel rear camera and will likely come with an 8 megapixel front facing camera.

The rear camera has an aperture of f/1.8, which one-ups the f/1.9 aperture of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

Wider apertures improve the quality of photos taken at night and help eliminate blur in action shots. The G4's camera will take in up to 80 per cent more light than that of the year-old G3, claims LG Innotek.

The camera module has been developed by LG Innotek and it will be debuted at the global launch of the LG G4 on 28 April.

Mass production of the camera module started this week in preparation of the G4’s global launch.

The upcoming LG flagship could come with an 8-megapixel front facing camera. LG Innotek has developed an 8-megapixel ‘selfie’ camera, which is its highest resolution front camera to date.

The revelation comes less than 24 hours before Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and S6 flagships go on sale in Australia.

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
