Kogan enters watch market, aims to undercut retailers

Online retailer, Kogan.com, has announced that it's now offering thousands of men's and women's watches. In typical Kogan fashion, the company says it's staying ahead of the competition by delivering direct from the source to the consumer and cutting out the middleman.
Kogan says it can deliver watches cheaper than its competitors and that its prices are up to 85% off similar products at department stores. Thousands of models are already in stock and the company is focusing on big brand names such as Tag Heuer, Gucci, Armani, Tissot, Diesel, Nixon, Seiko, Casio and many more. Smart watches from Sony and Samsung are also available.
In describing the way traditional sellers might feel towards Kogan making a play for watches, founder and CEO, Ruslan Kogan, said the only critic he cares about is the consumer. “Whenever we enter a new industry, we invariably annoy a lot of the retailers who operate in it.
