Google's rivals to review new concessions in EU antitrust case

The European Commission has given Google's rivals a month in which to review the company's latest proposal to settle the antitrust case

Google's rivals have been given another opportunity to review the search giant's latest proposal to avoid a fine from the European Commission for allegedly breaking competition rules.

The European Commission announced on Monday that it wants feedback from complainants and other relevant market participants. This so-called 'market test' will take place over the next month.

Google has been under investigation by the European Commission since November 2010 after rivals accused it of directing users of its search engine to its own services by reducing the visibility of competing websites and services. It was also accused of content-scraping and imposing contractual restrictions that prevent advertisers from moving their online campaigns to rival search engines.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
