Leaked iPhone parts roundup: iPhone 5C video, iPhone 5S back panel, iPhone 5C buttons

As the iPhone 5S release date and iPhone 5C release data approach, leaked parts have been flooding the web

Over the past month, there have been so many leaked iPad 5, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C parts that we've been able to do regular leaked parts roundups. This week has been no exception.

It's expected that both the next-generation iPhone and a low-cost iPhone will be unveiled at a 10 September Apple special event, so the closer we get to that rumoured release date the more leaked components we're likely to come across.

Here's the roundup of this week's leaked iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C parts.

iPhone 5C video

A three-minute video that compares the cheaper iPhone, dubbed iPhone 5C, to the iPhone 5 and older iPhone models has been published this week.

The video shows a yellow model of the rumoured low-cost iPhone, and is described as a "hands-on" with the iPhone 5C's back housing.

The device appears to be the same size as the iPhone 5, which suggests that it will have a 4in screen. It has rounded corners and is made with plastic rather than aluminium and glass.

The iPhone 5C shown in the video also has a speaker grill at the bottom, with the headphone jack and a Lightning connector alongside it.

Previous reports and leaked images have suggested that the iPhone 5C will be available in a variety of colours, so this yellow colour could be one of the new options.

iPhone 5S rear shell

French blog Nowhereelse.fr has this week published photographs of what appears to be the rear shell of an iPhone 5S.

The photographs show the allegedly leaked part alongside an iPhone 5's rear shell, highlighting the differences between the two.

The differences between the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5S rear shell indicate that the iPhone 5S will have a better camera, possibly including the rumoured dual-LED flash.

The Home button part of the rear casing looks a bit different to the iPhone 5's, which could also hint that the rumours of a fingerprint sensor built-in to the Home button could be correct.

iPhone 5C mute switch, volume and power buttons

Earlier in the week, Sonny Dickson published a series of photographs that show what is believed to be buttons destined for the new iPhone 5C.

According to the report, the photographs come from "a trusted source in China who has had access to device parts in the past."

The photographs show the buttons in four different colours: green, yellow, red and blue.

iPhone 5S camera cut-outs

On Monday, Nowherelse.fr published photos of the top portion of the iPhone 5S's rear case, which show space for a camera lens, rear-facing microphone and a space for the LED flash, which is bigger than that of the iPhone 5.

This hints that the iPhone 5S is indeed getting a dual-LED flash to help improve photographs.

Windows 10 / HP Spectre

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

Windows 10 / Lenovo Yoga

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.
