Kogan partners with Essendon for 'Bombers' TV

Bombers TV branded with Essendon logo

Controversial electronics manufacturer Kogan has teamed up with controversial AFL club Essendon to release a TV branded with the sporting club's logo.

Bombers fans are able to order the 32-inch, 720p LED TV from Kogan's Web site now, although shipping starts on September 23.

The $259 screen has three HDMI inputs, supplemented by a USB port that can play downloaded video formats. The 'Official Essendon 32-inch LED TV by Kogan' has a variety of performance-enhancing features, like a built-in PVR function that can record digital shows when a hard drive or flash drive is plugged in over USB.

Interim CEO of Essendon FC, Ray Gunston, applauded Kogan for its part in bringing the TV to market, saying that buying the TV would be "another way for Bombers fans to show their loyalty and commitment to a football club which has brought them so much excitement, success, and happy memories over the years."

Kogan CEO, Ruslan Kogan, told GoodGearGuide the company is also open to partnering with other clubs. "We were asked this question when we partnered with Collingwood and did a Magpies TV. We were then asked the same question when we partnered with Geelong and did a Cats TV. We'll let our actions speak louder than words."

A smarter way to print for busy small business owners, combining speedy printing with scanning and copying, making it easier to produce high quality documents and images at a touch of a button.

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
