Pandora app update improves your work day with auto-pause, stutter-free streaming

Latest update strengthens streaming connection, offers an auto-pause option

Pandora users can now rock out to the sweet sounds of Daft Punk even in flaky connection areas, thanks to the app's recent update.

Version 4.4 not only strengthens your streaming connection in areas with a bad connection; it also offers an auto-pause option when you mute your phone.

Dance party in the elevator with your iPhone and Madonna? If you have to quickly mute your phone due to the intrusion of a co-worker, the song will pause in place; once that co-worker hops off, you can resume your dancing right where you left off.

The update also provides more links on artist and song pages, and a collection of unnamed bug fixes and improvements. The update is a cool 17MB; new and existing Pandora app users can pick it up for free from the App Store.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
