HTC M4 could be HTC One mini

HTC will emulate Samsung with HTC One mini, codename M4

HTC's long rumoured M4 smartphone will be a mid-range mini version of the HTC One.

Much like Samsung has the Galaxy S3 mini, HTC will launch the M4 as a more affordable version of the HTC One which was codenamed M7, according to PhoneArena. The M4 will looks just like the flagship model and even use the same aluminium build but use mid-range components. See also: iPhone 5 vs HTC One comparison review.

The M4 is expected to sport a 4.3in screen with a 720p resolution compared to the HTC One's 4.7in Full HD 1080p display. The processor will be dual-core (previous rumours suggest a 1.2GHz clock speed) instead of quad-core but RAM will remain at 2GB.

Storage will be halved to 16GB and there's no word or signs of a microSD card slot. The handset will use the same Ultrapixel camera which HTC has had supply problems with and use a smaller 1700mAh non-removable battery.

HTC's M4 could get a name in-line with the One range and is tipped to arrive towards the end of the second quarter with 4G LTE support and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Back when the HTC One was leaked as the M7 we heard about the M4 and also a G2 device but there're no more details on this. It's rumoured to have a 3.5in display, a 1GHz processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

With the HTC One getting great reviews, surely a smaller and more affordable version will be a success. Let us know what you think in the comments section below.

I’d happily recommend this touchscreen laptop and Windows 10 as a great way to get serious work done at a desk or on the road.

Windows 10 / HP Spectre

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

Windows 10 / Lenovo Yoga

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.

For work use, Microsoft Word and Excel programs pre-installed on the device are adequate for preparing short documents.
