SimCity coming to Mac on June 12

Single purchase includes both PC and Mac version

With the PC version of SimCity having cleared its first month anniversary since launch, EA has announced a June 12 release for the Mac version of the game.

The Mac edition of SimCity will be released exclusively as a digital copy via EA’s Origin service and other online retailers

In an interesting move, SimCity will be a cross play title, allowing the user to play the game on Mac and PC, regardless of which version they buy.

Since the game is Cloud based, player will also be able to access their cities from across both platforms.

Users who have previously purchased SimCity for PC, either as a physical or a digital copy, will receive the Mac version as a free digital download on Origin when it is released.

The release of the Mac version of SimCity comes more than 23 years after the original title was released for the Macintosh and Amiga platforms, which was then followed by the PC and Commodore 64 versions.

LIFEBOOK UH574

The Fujitsu LifeBook UH574 allowed for great mobility without being obnoxiously heavy or clunky. Its twelve hours of battery life did not disappoint.

STYLISTIC Q702

The screen was particularly good. It is bright and visible from most angles, however heat is an issue, particularly around the Windows button on the front, and on the back where the battery housing is located.

STYLISTIC Q702

My first impression after unboxing the Q702 is that it is a nice looking unit. Styling is somewhat minimalist but very effective. The tablet part, once detached, has a nice weight, and no buttons or switches are located in awkward or intrusive positions.
