Leaked screenshots have confirmed the Samsung Galaxy S IV will feature Smart Scroll and Smart Pause eye tracking technology.

As suggested yesterday, the Samsung Galaxy S IV will come with Smart Scroll and Smart Pause software. The features have been shown by SamMobile and were leaked yesterday as Eye Scroll and Eye Pause.

The typical Samsung TouchWiz settings menu shows Smart Scroll and Smart Pause alongside Smart Stay and Smart Rotation already found on the Galaxy S III.

Smart Scroll says: "The screen will start to scroll automatically if the device detects that you are looking at the screen," while "The device pauses video when it detects your head moving away from the screen," describes Smart Pause.

Other screenshots show that the speed of Smart Scroll can be adjusted and users can select whether it includes head movement for acceleration or not. Smart Scroll will work with, at the least, Internet, Chrome, the body of email messages and the body of Gmail messages.

The dimensions of the screenshots, if they are genuine, also confirm the Galaxy S IV will use a Full HD resolution of 1080x1920.

We can't say whether the screenshots are the real deal or clever mock ups. What we can say is that these features seem to be the logical step forward from Samsung's existing Smart Stay so we wouldn't be surprised if they do arrive with the Galaxy S IV.

Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy S IV on Thursday 14 March in New York.
