Dutch accessories manufacturer Mujjo has released a new and improved range of gloves designed to work with the capacitive touchscreens used on smartphones, tablets and touchscreen computers.

While we thought the original Mujjo gloves were warm enough and fitted enough for Australian conditions and Australian hands, the company boasts it tested "different shapes and sizes on numerous hands" to find the best design and shape.

"Miles of yarn" was tested to find a fabric that would not pill. Every part of the Mujjo gloves' fabric is woven with a silver-covered nylon strand that conducts human skin's natural capacitance, so all fingers or surfaces of the glove can be used with a touchscreen.

The new gloves will be available worldwide on November 12, with five colours to choose from: the original silver-yarn-spun black, as well as grey, sandstone, lavender and pink.
